This research is based on the result of initial observations which show that rnthe initial nimeracy skills in group A children in RA Assyakur are still quite rnlacking, therefore the researchers are trying ti improve children’s numeeracy rnskills through the play method using pompoms. The purpose of this study was to rnstudy how to increase the numercy ability of children in group A in RA Assyakur rnthrough the method of playing using popoms and to obtain data on the level of rnchildren’s numeracy skills after the applicaion of the method of playing using rnpompoms.rnIn this study using the Classroom Action Reaearch(CAR) methohd. The rndata obtained is in the form of qualitative data using severl instruments, namely rnobservation nd documentations.rnThe subjects of the sudy were group A children in RA Assyakur with a total rnof 5 children consisting of 2 boys and 3 g indicated that through theirls. The result rnobtained from this study indicated that through the play method using the rnpompom media in learning activities, the ability to count in group Achildren has rnimproved better. This cab be seen based on the result of observations as many as2 rncycles with 4 actions. In each cycle I and II in action I, improvements were made so that the results matched the achievement target of 80%.
